A quiet sunday in Zomba

This is Tijl trying to evade the taking of his Malarone (=Malanil) pills. I read up on it extensively, and eventually decided to buy them in Nelspruit, South Africa, where they are sold over the counter. For the kids you need smaller pills, but they did not have enough of them. I proposed to cut a grown-up version in half. "Yes, that would be a good idea!", she said. And thus Tijl takes half, Silke takes the other half and a pediatric pill. Disadvantage for the kids is the foul taste, which is no longer covered by the hull. But they manage.
Today was a quiet day. We spent the greater part of it in the "Forest Lodge" up mountain road. A lovely place, originally built in the forties and completely remodeled by it's current owners, Petal and Tom.
They have this wonderful swing, a horse made of an old tyre.

And a dog or two, great views, a nice lawn, no electricity but a small solar panel, a fireplace and lovely rooms. Unfortunately, they are located a bit out of town. But they more than made up for that with a very nice lunch, served on the lawn to the ten of us.

And then we went back to Pakachere's. This is the view from the bar, where we ended the day playing Bao again. Silke is getting quite good at it, she has beaten me several times now.

And now she was teaching the rules to newly arrived Arjen and Bregje. New meat to beat!
